Lillian Achieng

Lillian was found after the post-election violence.  She was only 6 years old when we found her and we are not sure whether her parents are still alive although we have attempted to trace them.  We have taken her in and are providing shelter and basic needs.

James Otieno

We discovered James in the rubbish dump in 2006- although he was only 5 years old he had no relatives and didn’t know his parents or how he even got to be on the dump.  He came there probably out of instinct to find food.  We took him in and have been sheltering him ever since.

Millicent Chika

We met Millicent in 2006 when her mother was very ill.  She is from a single parent family so the only way she could eat was to beg for food at the nearby restaurants.  She has never known her father.  Unfortunately her mother died during the post election violence in Kisumu during March 2007 and she was left destitute at the tender age of 11.

c4c has been caring for Millicent ever since her mother’s death.  She would like to go to school.  Please help us help Millicent by pledging a small amount monthly to our Life Centre School project.

Rosa Jane

Despite the fact that Rosa was only 4 years old when we met her, we found her alone and begging for food at local restaurants.  She is orphaned and was overlooked being left alone to fend for herself.  We began sheltering and caring for Rosa since June 2007.  She now needs to go to school and start a journey of new hope.

Faith

This girl was suffering right from her babyhood where she was born into street life.  her mother was sleeping rough by petrol stations trying to make a living. We found her when we were out on the streets- she didn’t even have a name so we called her ‘Faith’.  We have since sheltered her and have taken care of her health needs.  She is about 12 years old.

Please help us help Faith restore her dignity and identity by supporting the Life Centre School with a regular small donation.
