c4c believe that even the older youths should be given a chance to change their lives.  However, for many the opportunity of an education has long gone, some get into their early twenties and have known nothing but street life.

Whilst we can still get some into High School if they are recently evicted and have some schooling, others have little hope.  This is where other skills such as carpentry or mechanics comes into play.

We have provided opportunities for several boys to train in these areas, some have now graduated and are willing to train others.  We are hoping to soon acquire our own Carpentry Shop to offer more boys a chance.

In 2011 we are extending this work to include other areas e.g. wiring/electrical and masonry training.  Four of the boys doing a mechanics course have now recently graduated.  This means they can get work.
